Cone Beam CT

What is Cone Beam CT?

Cone Beam CT (CBCT) is a non-invasive medical imaging technique where a three-dimensional image of the teeth and jaw is obtained. It is often used in dental implant planning. It is also commonly used as a planning tool for a wide range of dental surgeries and procedures. Dentaview utilises the very latest in Cone Beam scanning technology providing the highest quality with the lowest dose to the patient. Our brand new state-of-the-art Cone Beam Scanners produce amazingly detailed images every time. The Cone Beam CT examination can be done sitting or standing and lasts approximately 2 minutes. Dentaview requires a referral form for a Cone Beam CT from a dentist, doctor, or specialist but we accept referrals made out to any radiology company.
